We'd like to interrupt your costume hunting to announce a few events happening this week.

Two Airspace Workshop clients will be hosting events this coming Friday, October 26th. If you don't have plans, we invite you to check out Art After Dark at the Honolulu Art Academy or catch a few films at the Hawaii International Film Festival.

Also, we'd like to wish everyone a Happy Halloween. We've got lots of catching up to do, so look out for a formal ASWS update real soon.

This Friday, October 26th, Airspace Workshop and the Hawaii International Film Festival present Sound + Vision. Two music related films, starting with the Ian Curtis (of Joy Division) biopic CONTROL at 9:30 p.m. and followed by Daft Punk's ELECTROMA at midnight.

As far as Hawaii may seem from the progressive British and French music scenes, Airspace Workshop knows that many fans do exist out here in the waves. We've secured these films, with the help of Anderson Le of the Hawaii Film Festival, for fans of groundbreaking artists and the adventurous souls who crave something different.

We have a few tickets to give away to anyone who can prove their love for JOY DIVISION or DAFT PUNK. Send us an image that shows you are the biggest Joy Division or Daft Punk fan in Hawaii. Dig out those mod pictures from the 80's or get cracking on some fancy helmets.

Please email your image to contest@airspaceworkshop.com. Deadline for entries is Thursday afternoon at 5pm. 5 winners will be selected for each screening, and notified via email.

Also happening this Friday, the Vanguard Lofts will be sponsoring the October Art After Dark event, Voodoo.

Food, drinks, and art at the Academy. Add a dash of Halloween. Mix well. The party begins at 6 p.m. Visit the Art After Dark website for more information.

Airspace Workshop is participating in the Assets Mentorship Program this year, and we're excited to introduce Tim, who will be along for the ride until 2008.

Tim will be learning the finer points of video production and website design during his tour with Airspace Workshop.

In return, we will be learning the finer points of Halo 3 from Tim, who recently competed (and placed 43rd overall) at the Major League Gaming event in Las Vegas.

Since our last newsletter, we've met a lot of new people and worked on some really great projects. We'll have a full update of Airspace Workshop's latest and greatest in our winter newsletter.
